What It Was:

As a Victorias Secret PINK Campus Representative, I was in charge of managing and maintaining PINK’s connection with students attending college in Provo Utah.

I managed a lot of different moving pieces. I over saw responsibilities from event planning/coordination, project management, team management, financial budgeting, and social media.

What I Learned:

  • I love the color Pink

  • Even if you are not super “girly” there is something with PINK that everyone can connect with. (Self-worth, confidence, cool clothing, free stuff, etc.).

  • Stay positive even when working with others doesn’t go as planned and causes issues/stresses.

  • Event planning takes a lot of work. There are a lot of moving pieces to manage

  • Having a theme is ESSENTIAL to an event and producing social media content relevant to the event.

  • Always be on top of reports and “boring office work” that needs to get sent back to HQ.

  • Genuine networking within companies and organizations can allow you to meet some of the coolest people.

My Role:

Campus Representative, Account Manager, Event Planner

What I Did:

  • Hosted 25+ themed events

    • Back to School, Halloween Bash, Gratitude Week, Christmas, Galentines, Spring Break, Team Parties etc.

  • Organized, managed, and sorted DOZENS of boxes with PINK gear for events.

  • Generated over $5,000 in sales at our local PINK store during In-Store events.

  • Managed a team of six girls while delegating responsibility/roles to each one.

  • Worked with several partners connected with PINK including local businesses, national organizations, and organizations in Utah associated to colleges.

  • Became one of the top performing colleges at PINK during a themed event.

Ask Me About:

  1. Getting banned from throwing events on BYU’s campus

  2. Organizing and managing boxes of product inventory a season

  3. My favorite event
